This year’s Battle of Malta festival takes place October 15-22 in the spectacular Eden Arena at the InterContinental Conference Centre in St Julian’s. The €150 “MPNPT Battle” takes place on Monday, October 21. Last year Norwegian Erik Dallan beat Irish veteran Annette O’Carroll heads-up to snag the €17,331 first prize. There were 727 entries.

Satellites to the €1 MILLION guaranteed Main Event start on 15th July.
With €75 rebuys running on Wednesdays and €200 freezeouts on Sundays for a package, along with seat only finals on Thursdays and Sundays you’re spoilt for choice.

**If you win more than one seat or package, you can use the second seat as a re-entry ticket or transfer it to another player. The second package won can be transferred to another player or it can be used at another MPNPT stop within one year of the date won.
Upgrades
Upgrade to the 5 star InterContinental Hotel for €300. This upgrade is for single occupancy rooms. A €20 supplement per day for double occupancy will be requested to be paid at the hotel. We also have family rooms available at a supplement, please let us know your requirements when you receive a confirmation email.
Upgrades are available to €1,500 package winners who would like to upgrade from the Holiday Inn Express. After winning a package you can upgrade your hotel by joining the special holding lobby in the poker software.

Extra nights
The Battle of Malta festival starts on 15th October with a satellite to the main event, day 1A starts on 16th October, if you would like to arrive early to play these you will need extra nights at the hotel.

Your €555 Main Event entry won as part of your package or seat only win can be used on day 1A if you are thinking of arriving early.
*You may transfer your side event ticket to a guest if you wish. If you do not transfer your side event ticket but are unable to play because you’re still playing the main event, we’ll refund the buy in to your MPN account. Otherwise, the side event entry is not refundable or exchangeable.

There are flights from around the world to Malta International Airport which is around 30 minutes’ drive to the hotels. A taxi or pre-booked transfer will cost approximately €25 each way

The Main Event will be played in the Arena on the 4th floor if the InterContinental Hotel. Satellites and some side events will be played on the 2nd floor. With cash games available 24/7 in the casino itself which is accessed via the 2nd floor of the InterContinental Hotel.

Holiday Inn Express Malta hotel is in the heart of the seaside town of St. Julian’s, only 18 minutes’ drive from Malta International Airport. The casino is 20 meters away and the main entrance to the Arena where the main event will be played is 50 meters away. Check in from 15:00 pm, check out from 11:00 am.

| I like the way they are mentioning about the buy in : affordable €555 buy-in. Well for some players is. But for how many of them? The majority will try to acquire a ticket through the satellites if they are having any. And usually in this site they have satellites for every game they are running. | ||

| Is awesome that entry into this tournament is not so great and you can play there, if you really want to. I think it's helpful for online players to play more live poker. I seen many players who have tried to go in live tournaments but they are not very lucky. The more satellites, the more chances it offers. | ||
