I shut the machine down, re-seated the new RAM (and verified that I had, in fact, put the new sticks in). One of the new sticks must be bad, I thought. So I swapped them. So it isn’t the sticks. i finally got my system running great sense my upgrade it took me two months to fix it first had to replace the psu then the mb then the cpu because it had a bad memory controller. after that i had to replace the memory. i was wandering can a bad memory controller damage memory?
